I’ve blogged A LOT in the past 10 years. Chasingdreams.net alone has collected 270+ posts in 3+ years, and I’m not even adding up the ones I posted on my other sites over the past decade. I blogged about stuff that I loved, people who made me smile, places I went to, experiences that made me grow, things I learned, God-moments that defined and shaped who I am, dreams that came true, and sometimes even those ordinary days and non-sensical thoughts.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, all these years filling up this little space in the web, I feel like I owe it to our twins to document their little lives here, more than anything I’ve ever blogged. With hopes that someday, they’ll see these posts and know how much they’re loved.
So I mark this year in this blog, their first year of existence, with a 52 Week Project inspired by Jodi:
“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2013.“
Hundreds of bloggers from all over the world took Jodi’s challenge, and because of the theme of the project, it’s quite obvious that the ones who are doing it are MOMS. I’ve been following their posts and have found some of my newest favorite blogs. And while I don’t know these people, it feels like stepping inside a room full of kindred spirits every time I browse through the list of participants—talented Mothers who are smitten by their littles ones, and capturing moments through photographs and words.
I’m trailing behind by a couple of weeks (they’re already on their 7th week), but oh well, better late than never. My 52 Weeks now begins.
Dear Dawn & Rain, This is for you. Love, Mommy.

I admire you for taking these challenges. :) It’s great to document our little ones in photos because you see a visual of how they are changing, growing. Keep it up mommy!
