Sometime in December last year, a girl named Precious messaged me and asked me to create a wedding e-invite for them. “Wedding e-invite”, is of course just a word I use to describe what they wanted: they already have wedding invitations, but they want something different to share on Facebook and Instagram.
My giddy heart leaped in its cage when she described the specs: coral, mint, summer, flowers and loads of prettiness. I pinned some pegs for color inspiration, which is one of my favorite parts of doing design work.
Not really knowing Precious and Kristoffer, I had to imagine how to put their personalities in the designs, based on what I knew about the wedding: their color choices (coral and mint), the venue (Tagaytay makes me think of nature and skies), and their theme (summer!).
So I gave them two very different design studies:
Can you tell how much I enjoyed doing this project? :)
Precious loved both (she went ahead and shared on IG the first design too), but preferred the second design to make into a complete wedding invitation set. This is the final product:
This wasn’t really meant for printing, so the contrast of the bright colors on dark grey looked pretty on computer screens and mobile. But if this was meant for printing, I probably made the background a lighter color.
In the end, it didn’t feel like work. Design projects make me happy, and I was just thankful that Precious approached me (she said she’s been reading my blog for a while) and allowed me to be a teeny weeny part of their special day.
I offer wordpress, logo, and branding packages for creative people who dig dreamy and minimalist designs. I also design stationery and invitations for weddings, birthday parties, and events. Feel free to message me if you like what you see. Read my Design Process to know more. Or view my Design Portfolio to see some of my work. Let’s create something beautiful!

So pretty! I’ve also been a reader of your blog for years, and I’m proud to say I’ve seen the many makeovers you did here. I must say I loved each one! :)
