Photographs of my daughters, once a week, every week, this 2014. Week 22.
Sunday afternoon as usual, back from church, wearing these pretty dresses that are still a little too big, which I love, because they almost look like maxi dresses. (At least they can wear these dresses until they’re 3.)
With the twins mastering the art of posing by that wall, these weekly photo sessions have become a whole lot easier and more fun for this trigger-happy mommy right here. My only challenge now is the blogging part, which is taking a little more time.
The truth is, I’ve ran out of ways to describe how it’s like—being a mommy to D & R, seeing them grow, watching them discover the world, witnessing their little milestones every day. At this point I’ve overused the words amazing, awesome, epic, beautiful, lovely, and crazy and yet, even those words come off short.
Dawnsky
This past month, Dawn has learned to sing the “e-i-a-i-a-o” part of Old McDonald. She sings it ALL. THE. TIME. She would stand in front of our full-length mirror and sing e-i-a-i-a-o. She would sing it while taking a bath, while playing, while pooping. Sometimes, even the sound of her cries is e-i-a-i-a-o.
Seriously, I never imagined I’d be so grateful to Old McDonald for having a farm until today.
Rainbow
Rain, meanwhile, is our baby fashionista. She likes wearing stuff, like that loomband and those plastic beads she had on in the above pictures, which by the way, she wore on her own without my help. She likes carrying bags too, and wearing hats, and wearing rubber bands and bangles on her arms.
One time we even caught her trying to wear MY tank top! Oh my goodness. :) Where did you learn these things, little girl?
Such sweethearts, these two. Me and their Daddy are crazy about them. <3 (OT: I’m crazy about maxi skirts these days too, I know!)
Also, I.. can’t stop taking pictures!!
Shoutout to their Auntie Abiel for their dresses, and to Ate Jasmine their loombands. Thank you! :)
Ok, ok, I’m done.
