It hasn’t been a while since I’ve met Grace Barbers-Baja. I only know her blog, The Spoiled Mummy, but our paths have never crossed until recently when she approached me for a project. She welcomed me to their lovely home, and it doesn’t take a long time for anyone to see that not only does she have a beautiful house, she also has a big heart and some big dreams!
And now she’s making those dreams happen.
This week the first line of Grace Home products is unveiled, with items that Grace developed herself and sourced locally, as well as items that are curated from her travels.
The Grace Home product line
First off, the Grace Home Candle and the Grace Home Room Fragrance can totally make any place feel warm and cozy (the scent of rose, talc and basil is just divine!). The Grace Home Paper & Stationery, on the other hand, is reflective of Grace’s thoughtfulness and kind heart, always opening her home for people to gather and be inspired.
Photographs of the Grace Home Candles are grabbed from TheSpoiledMummy.com.
And can I just add, I am totally swooning over Grace Home’s logo and brand identity! The perfect shade of pink, some elegant gold, classic black, and a very clean and modern serif font. Totally digging it.
Meanwhile, her line of curated home products—tea cups, saucers, place mats, pillows, among others—are from her recent trip to Turkey, and I’m over the moon about these pretty little things! Check out those details:
More than these gorgeous products, there’s a lot to be learned from Grace’s passion and determination to make this dream happen.
She talked about her big idea on her blog, and I quote:
When I was thinking of Grace Home—why I’m putting this together and what I wanted to accomplish—I realized that it is about one thing I do believe in: creating that home that you and your family would love to come home to. At the end of the day, it really is all about the little details that spell a big difference. I am a believer in good quality and timeless elegance. For me, this means a commitment to creating a home that I and my family will treasure: one that is warm, welcoming, and simply cozy.
Indeed, pursuing a dream is hard work, but the time, sleepless nights, and energy you invest are worth it when you know you’re doing something you love and believe in. What an inspiration for us women, moms, and dreamers!
