Recently: The 100% Whole Mom Launch

100% Whole Mom

I can tell this story from two perspectives: First, from behind the scenes where I got to witness how this passion project came to life, from drawing board to launch date, from vision to reality. And second, as one of the many Moms who are (and will be) inspired and empowered by this passion project.

It has been such an honor to be in both sides of the fence, and I couldn’t be any more proud of the 100% Whole Mom ladies.

These women need no introductions! We watched them on TV growing up, and we all have seen them bloom from child actresses and teen models to influential women and moms. But what we couldn’t see from the other side of the TV screen or from the glossy pages of a magazine is how the Lord has been preparing them for something bigger than showbiz.

As mothers themselves, this passion to inspire and empower other moms has grown too big for their hearts to keep, and it was just so brilliant how the Lord brought the three of them together to make this vision a reality.

Grace Home: The Launch of a Dream

It hasn’t been a while since I’ve met Grace Barbers-Baja. I only know her blog, The Spoiled Mummy, but our paths have never crossed until recently when she approached me for a project. She welcomed me to their lovely home, and it doesn’t take a long time for anyone to see that not only does she have a beautiful house, she also has a big heart and some big dreams!

And now she’s making those dreams happen.

This week the first line of Grace Home products is unveiled, with items that Grace developed herself and sourced locally, as well as items that are curated from her travels.  Continue reading “Grace Home: The Launch of a Dream”

The Daykeeper 2015

I sometimes wonder how other Moms “chase their dreams” (or if they still do.) As a 30-year old working Mommy of twin girls, it’s been more like, “chasing deadlines” and “chasing toddlers” around here the past year.

When we’re younger, there was a lot of room for trial & error, and career shifts, and spontaneous road trips, and impulsively bought plane tickets. But as we grow older and little lives are suddenly dependent on (and affected by) the choices we make, we find ourselves taking more calculated steps. It’s not that we’re being uptight, we’re just trying hard to be responsible. We become more mindful about how we use our time and money, and whether or not something is a worthy investment. Passions and priorities naturally shift. Either we set aside our dreams for later, or we learn to chase new dreams—ones that are more for our family than for ourselves.

So maybe the chase slows down a little when we become mothers, but one thing for sure, we never stop dreaming.  Continue reading “The Daykeeper 2015 for Dreamers”
