Photographs of my daughters, once a week, every week, this 2014. Week 26.
A little odd that I’m posting this tonight, when a tropical storm is currently passing through the country. The typhoon season is here, but it helps to know that when the storms have passed, we can always enjoy warm sunny days in this country all year round.
It was one sunny afternoon towards the last week of June when these photographs were taken. Since no one’s occupying the rooftop apartment just yet, we thought of taking the inflatable pool up there and let the twins have some water fun.
We made the most out of their swimsuits, while they still fit. It seems to me like it’s the last time they would get to wear them. The girls are growing too fast!
This is how they look like when we say “kick!”—
And this is how Dawn looks like when it’s time to get off the pool—
Actually, she’s a lot more (uhm) violent than that in real life. Remember this post?
And of course there’s my partner in crime, always patient and supportive of our little whims and simple joys. So blessed to have this guy to raise this family with. You da man, bhoodski. High five!
It was getting dark, so we bundled our little bunnies and took them home, four floors down.
The good thing about doing this 52 Week Project is, no matter how tiring or how stressful an entire week can be, I know for sure that there will be at least one day in the week where my husband and I can stop whatever we’re doing, spend time with the twins, and have quality time as a family.
Oh sure there are definitely more beautiful moments that never made (and will never make) it to photographs, and most likely I’ll forget about them. But I’m happy to have these 52 extraordinary days of 2014 that I’ll surely remember forever.
