It’s here! Pursuit Manila’s February Gathering is happening and it’s going to be an afternoon filled with crepes, tea, God’s message of love, and lots of sweet little things!
This February 21 we want to remember and celebrate God’s love that’s so great it’s impossible to not be moved to create beautiful things that reflect His love, to love even in trying circumstances, and to be a blessing to people beyond our comfort zones.
That overwhelming feeling
The truth is, the positive response we’ve received after the first Pursuit Gathering here in Manila was just.. overwhelming. Beyond expectations.
Although I’ve been ranting like a broken record what Pursuit is all about, this message from Karen Stott, founder of Pursuit Community, will give you a picture of the massive work the Lord has been doing in the midst of this growing community.
Gods love for his daughters blows my mind. 4 years ago Pursuit was born out of my need for like minded, Jesus loving friends.
Today the mission to cultivate community among christian creatives has wrapped all the way around the globe. And honestly… I’m feeling all the feelings. Excited, scared, humbled, amazed, grateful… There’s no way to describe what it’s like to step out on a journey all alone only to find yourself being carried and encouraged by strangers turned sisters just a few years later.
I’m overwhelmed by His goodness and so thankful for all of the beautiful hearts that make up #pursuitcommunity. Thank you to all of you. For showing up, for joining in, for breaking down walls and reaching for the stars. For walking this incredible journey alongside all of us and being brave enough to believe that there’s room enough for all of us in this adventure. You truly are the good ones. And it’s such an honor to do life with you… Even across the miles.
Pretty awesome, yea? I’m so blessed to be part of this, and even more blessed that many of you want to be counted in this pursuit to make Him shine through our work, our craft, and our life.

In my previous post I mentioned that we’re having this special gathering at La Creperie Moderne in Salcedo Village, Makati. Have you been there? It’s a gorgeous place! And we’re so excited that they’re available to host us this February 21.
